BIOGRAFÍA
SuG fue formado en octubre de 2006 por Takeru (voz), masato (guitarra), yuji (guitarra), quienes habían sido integrantes de TRAVEL, y Shouta (bajo, ex-AmeriA). En noviembre, MITSURI (conocido como Aoshi cuando estaba en Retina se unió como baterista.
La banda comenzó sus actividades a inicios del 2007, pero en febrero Shouta abandonó la banda y fue reemplazado por el actual bajista, Chiyu (ex-Nana). Poco después, SuG comenzó a hacerse conocido de verdad. Su primer lanzamiento en un CD fue una canción en el álbum omnibus "CANNONBALL vol.3".
Luego de tener presentaciones en vivo el resto de la primavera y a inicios del verano, la banda firmó con la división indie de PS Company, una de los sellos visual-kei mejor conocidos y respetados, y en agosto salió su maxi-single "Scheat". Éste fue seguido en septiembre por su segundo single, "Alterna". Ambos singles fueron ampliamente promocionados e incluyeron interesantes videos musicales; como resultado, la popularidad de SuG despegó.
A fines de 2007, SuG lanzó un mini-álbum llamado "I SCREAM PARTY" y tuvieron su debut en el extranjero, en Colonia, Alemania, el 29 de diciembre para el concierto J-Rock Invasion. Con todo el éxito que ya tienen, será emocionante esperar que trae SuG para sus fans en el 2008.

Sug was formed in October 2006 by Takeru, Masato and Yuji who had all been members of another band called Travel, and Shouta. The drummer Mitsuru then joined in November of the same year.[2]
Shouta left the band in February and was replaced by Chiyu on bass. Their first release was "7th Breeze" on the compilation album Cannonball Vol. 03. The band signed to to the visual-kei label PS Company and in August released their first single, "Scheat".[3]
Sug have recently released an EP entitled Love Scream Party. To promote their music outside of Japan, Sug performed at "J-Rock Invasion" in Germany alongside Kagrra, Kra, Alice Nine and Screw who are also signed to CLJ Records, a German label.[4]
The name "Sug" is derived from the transliteration of the English word "thug", written in Japanese as Sagu (サグ ?). The name is then simplified to the slightly more romantic "Sug".[5]
